Over time, the handle on your Rationel entrance door may become a little wobbly. This is a simple issue to resolve and requires only a few minutes of your time. Follow these steps to restore a firm, solid feel to your door handle.


Step-by-Step Guide:


  1. Gather Your Tools: You will need a 3mm Allen key and some Loctite thread-locking fluid.

  2. Remove the Grub Screw: Use the Allen key to remove the grub screw from the base of the handle.

  3. Apply Loctite: Check if there is Loctite on the screw. If not, or if it has worn away, apply a small amount to the threads. This will prevent it from loosening again.

  4. Re-insert and Tighten: Pop the grub screw back in and tighten it firmly with the Allen key.

  5. Test the Handle: Your handle should now feel solid and securely connected to the spindle.
