The receivers on your Rationel entrance door are designed to be adjustable, allowing you to control the amount of pressure the door exerts on its seals. If the door is difficult to close, it may be too tight. If you feel a draught, it may be too loose. Here is how to fine-tune the receivers for optimal performance.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Get Your Tool: You will need a T10 Torx driver.

  2. Identify the Problem Receiver: If you are unsure which receiver is causing the issue, try removing one completely to help narrow down the source of the problem.

  3. Loosen the Screws: Use the T10 Torx to loosen the screws on the receiver plate.

  4. Adjust the Plate: The plate can be moved in or out to adjust the pressure. We suggest moving it one notch at a time.

  5. Tighten and Test: Re-tighten the screws and test the door. Repeat the adjustment on other receivers if necessary until the door closes with the perfect amount of resistance.
