When it comes to your windows and doors, having the right information at your fingertips can save time, hassle, and money, especially if you ever need to make a warranty claim or order replacement parts.
At okoHaus, we’re often asked, “How can I find the serial number or part number on my Rationel or Velfac products?” The good news is, it’s simple – once you know where to look.
Where to Find the Information
Every Rationel and Velfac window or door has two key locations where you can find the details we’ll need:
Inside the frame: You’ll find a small sticker with a printed code.
In the glass: There’s a code etched or printed directly onto the spacer bar, between the glass panes.
Both locations contain the same information, so if you can’t find one, try the other.
What the Code Means
The code gives us two vital pieces of information:
Production order number – This tells us exactly when and how your product was made.
Position number – This identifies the exact unit within the order.
With these details, our team can:
Confirm warranty eligibility
Source the correct parts
Ensure replacements fit perfectly, first time
Why It Matters
Whether you're replacing a handle, fixing a pane, or investigating a warranty issue, providing the correct serial and part number allows us to offer faster, more accurate support.
Still unsure? Pop into our showroom or get in touch – we’re always happy to help.
