How to Adjust the Height of Your Rationel Front Door

If you notice the gaskets on the bottom of your Rationel entrance door are catching or rubbing on the threshold, it is a common sign that the door has dropped slightly. Fortunately, adjusting the height is a straightforward task that you can do yourself.


Step-by-Step Guide:


  1. Get Your Tool: You will need a 6mm Allen key.

  2. Locate the Adjustment Screw: The height adjustment screw is located in the door hinges.

  3. Adjust the Hinges: Insert the Allen key and turn it to raise or lower the door. We recommend starting with a quarter of a turn at a time.

  4. Adjust All Hinges Evenly: To ensure the door remains balanced, apply the same amount of adjustment to all three hinges.

  5. Test the Door: After adjusting, open and close the door to check if it operates smoothly without rubbing. Repeat the process if further adjustment is needed.
