How to Adjust a Rationel Entrance Door: Left and Right Alignment

Over time, you may find your Rationel entrance door needs a slight adjustment to maintain a perfect seal and smooth operation. If the door has shifted to the left or right, you can easily correct its alignment with a few simple tools.


Step-by-Step Guide:


  1. Gather Your Tools: You will need a T20 Torx driver and a 3mm Allen key.

  2. Loosen the Hinge Screws: Using the T20 Torx, loosen the factory-set screws on the hinges inside the door.

  3. Adjust the Grub Screws: With the Allen key, turn the grub screws on the hinges. This will push or pull the door sash, allowing you to move it left or right as needed.

  4. Fine-Tune the Alignment: For more complex adjustments, such as a twisted door, you can adjust the top and bottom hinges in opposite directions.

  5. Re-tighten the Screws: Once you are happy with the alignment, use the T20 Torx to re-tighten the screws on the hinges.


This simple process will ensure your Rationel door continues to perform beautifully for years to come.
